TANCET FOR MANAGEMENT

The application form for TANCET 2022 has been available from 30th MARCH 2022. The Anna University, Chennai organises this state level entrance exam on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu state. Through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), admissions are offered in programmes such as MBA, M.TECH.,M.Arch, ,MCA,M.Plan etc. The candidates that qualify this entrance test are provided admission. Here, candidates can go through details with regards to the application process for TANCET 2022-

• The application form for TANCET 2022 is available online on their website.

• The application form is open to submit from 30th march 2022.

• The last submission date for the application form of TANCET 2022 is 21th April 2022.

• Candidates will need to provide an email ID and phone number for receiving important details.

• Candidates will be required to upload passport size photograph and signature in a prescribed format.

• Application forms with incomplete details are not accepted hence candidates are advised to provide all required details completely.

• Only one application form is required per candidate for three entrance tests.

• Candidates are advised to verify the details added in the application form before submission as incorrect details will lead to rejection of the form.

• After filling out all the details in the form, candidates are advised to print it out and keep it safe until further use.

Application Fee:

• The application fee can be submitted by candidates online.

• The online mode of payment includes options such as credit card, debit cards and net banking.

• The application fee for general category candidates is Rs. 600/-.

• The application fee for SCA/ ST/ SC category candidates is Rs. 300/- 

• The application fee is non-refundable.

Eligibility Criteria for TANCET 2022

The following eligibility criteria should be checked by candidates before applying for TANCET 2022-

• Nationality: Candidates with Indian Citizenship are eligible to apply for TANCET 2022.

• Appearing: Students in the last year of their qualifying exam can apply. 

For MBA Course:

• Qualification: A bachelor’s degree of minimum 3-year duration is required for the candidate to be eligible.

• Percentage: Candidate must have a score of a minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) to be eligible.

For MCA Course:

• Qualification:  A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised board or university is required for a candidate to be eligible.

• Percentage:  For the candidate to be eligible for the examination, she or he should have scored at least 50% marks. 

For M.Tech./ M.Plan/ M.Arch/ M.E Course:

• Qualification:  A UG degree is required from a recognized board or university for the candidate to qualify. 

• Percentage: Candidates require a minimum score of 55% marks (45% for SC/ ST category) in the qualifying exam to be eligible.
