JCECE exam will be conducted. JCECE Board conducts this exam every year.  Admission in B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.Sc. Agriculture, B.V.Sc & Animal Husbandry and various other degree courses are offered via this state level entrance exam.  Students are given admission in various affiliated colleges and institutions of Jharkhand state. Application Form for JCECE 2022


Here we have provided details with regards to the application form for JCECE 2022-


The application form for JCECE 2022 will be available in the second week of April 2022

The various steps that students have to follow to apply for JCECE 2022 are

Registering online, filling the application form, uploading images & documents (as per format/size), making fee payment and submitting & printing the form.

The application forms are available to fill till the first week of May 2022.

The application process of JCECE 2022 is completely done online. 

Multiple applications by one candidate are rejected by authorities hence one applicant can only submit one application form at a time.

No changes are allowed after the final form submission hence all details must be carefully and correctly filled.


Application Fee:

Payment Mode: The application fee for JCECE 2022 can be paid online through payment methods such as debit or credit card or net banking.


The JCECE 2022 application fee for various categories is as follows-

Eligibility Criteria for JCECE 2022


Here we have detailed the JCECE eligibility criteria for students-


General Eligibility:

Nationality:  Indian Citizenship is necessary. 

Residence: A local residential certificate/permanent of Jharkhand State is necessary. 

Appearing:  Students in the final year of their qualifying exam are eligible to apply.

Age Criteria:  The minimum age to apply is 17 years. The maximum age limit for B.V. Sc. & A.H and B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture and B.Sc (Hons) Forestry programmes is 22 years.



Qualification Eligibility:

For B.Tech (Dairy Technology) Course:  Candidates must have passed 12th level with 50 per cent marks and PCME subjects.

For BHMS Course: Candidates must have passed their 12th level with Physics, Biology, Chemistry & English subjects.

For B.V. Sc & A.H Course:  Candidates must have passed 12th level with PCBE subjects and 50% marks (40% for reserved categories).

For B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture & B.Sc (Hons) Forestry Course:  Candidates must have passed their 12th level with PCB/PCM subjects.




 Exam Pattern of JCECE.


Here we have listed the details of the exam pattern of JCECE-


Exam Date:  The JCECE exam for 2022 will be conducted in the third week of May 2022.

Exam Mode:  The exam is conducted online in a computer-based test mode.

Language Medium: The question paper is available in English and Hindi.

Duration of Exam: The duration of Physics and Chemistry exams is 2 hours and the duration of biology and mathematics exam is 1 hour.

Type of Questions: The JCECE exam paper consists of multiple-choice questions.

Number of Questions:  PCM and PCB group consists of 150 MCQs and PCMB group consists of 200 MCQs.

Total Marks: The PCM and PCB exam is of 150 marks and PCMB exam is of 200 marks.

Marking Scheme:  Every correct answer gets awarded 1 mark and every incorrect answer leads to a 0.25 marks deduction.

Syllabus for JCECE 2022

Students can check the syllabus of JCECE 2022 online on the website. JCECE board prescribes the syllabus. The syllabus for JCECE can be checked for three groups which are PCB, PCM and PCMB. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology are the subjects from whom topics are derived for the exam.

Students can prepare for the JCECE exam from the syllabus recommended in the 12th standard from PCMB subjects. 



Preparation Tips for JCECE 2022

Here are some preparations tips for candidates to follow to excel in the JCECE entrance test-

Include each and every important topic in the time table you make for the exam.

Make notes and revise them regularly.

Practice for the exam by solving model papers and past papers. 

Before starting the exam preparation, revise JCECE exam pattern, syllabus and marking scheme.

Participate in mock tests and improve your accuracy level.

Use good sources of study materials to prepare for the entrance tests that may be available online and offline. 


Admit Card for JCECE 2022

The admit card or hall ticket for JCECE 2022 can be downloaded from their website in the second week of May 2022. Students would be required to enter their login details which are their application number and date of birth to download the admit card. 

Students cannot appear for the JCECE 2022 exam without the admit card. Various important details like the student’s name, subject group, DOB, roll number, exam date and time, exam venue etc are in the hall ticket.

Answer Key of JCECE 2022

In the third week of May 2022, the answer key to JCECE is released. The answer key is released online on the website by the JCECE Board. Candidates can check the answer key for various sets. 

They can use the answer key to predict their exam scores and determine their chances for further admission.


Cut Off of JCECE 2022

The cut off of JCECE 2022 can be checked by students on the website. The cut off for various courses or categories is announced separately by JCECE Board. The cut off is based on various factors such as difficulty level of exam, the performance of candidates, number of appeared students, availability of seats etc. 

The cut off marks must be secured by students to be eligible for admission.


Result of JCECE 2022 

The student can check the result of JCECE 2022 in their login window. The results are declared in the fourth week of May 2022. In the month of July 2022, the students can download their rank cards from the website. The result can be downloaded in PDF format. A merit list combined and category wise is released on the website. Students have to enter their roll number and select the exam to see the result.

JCECE 2022 Counselling

In the third week of June 2022, JCECE counselling is conducted online. The counselling schedule is released online post result announcement. Candidates are called for counselling based on their merit rank.

Students can download the allotment letter and pay the counselling fee online. Post that, the students get admission and are allotted seats in various institutions. 

Students will be required to submit necessary certificates or testimonials for document verification in the process of counselling.
