What is HBSAT?
Hyderabad Business School, GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus,
administers the HBSAT, or Hyderabad Business School Aptitude Test. The exam is
a requirement for admission to the two-year, full-time MBA programme, which is
recognised by the UGC, AICTE, and Ministry of HRD of the Government of India,
New Delhi.
Although the HBSAT 2023 dates have not yet been revealed, based on past
trends, the test is most expected to take place in January 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for HBSAT 2023
• Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any
field or its equivalent, with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%
or its equivalent in any field.
• Candidates who are in their final year of a
bachelor's degree programme or an equivalent may also apply if they can present
documentation that they have met the requirements for eligibility.
• Candidates are excluded from the HBSAT if they
have valid MAT, GMAT, CAT, XAT, ATMA, or NMAT results.
• Candidates sponsored by NRIs and international
students are also eligible, but they must take the GMAT at a location outside
of India.

Admission Process: HBSAT 2023
Step 1: Fill in the HBSAT Application form
- Candidates must complete the HBSAT application
form on the Hyderabad Business School, Gitam University, official website
in order to sit for the exam.

Step 2: Download HBSAT 2023 Admit Card
The
candidates will receive their HBSAT admission cards online. Candidates must go
to the official website and enter their registration number and date of birth
in order to download their admission cards. Candidates should be aware that
they must bring their admission card to the exam centre since it is a crucial
piece of paperwork.
Step 3: Appear for HBSAT 2023 exam
The
test will probably take place in January 2023 and be delivered online. Data
sufficiency, Mathematical Ability, Communication & Business Aptitude,
English, and Reasoning questions will be on the HBSAT 2023 exam.
Step 4:
Verify the 2023 HBSAT results
2023 HBSAT results are anticipated to be released one month after the exam day. On
the official website, the outcome will be visible. Candidates must go to the
official website and click the "Result" link in order to verify the
same. The final product will be presented in pdf format. Candidates are
encouraged to print out the form.
Step 5: Group Discussion & Personal Interview
Exam
candidates who pass will receive an invitation to the Group Discussion (GD) and
Personal Interview (PI) stages. The results of the HBSAT/national level tests,
the GD, and the PI will be used to determine which candidates will be admitted
in the end.
Step 6: Counselling
A counselling session will be held following the preparation of the final
list of candidates for admission. Candidates should be aware that attending the
HBSAT counselling in person is crucial.

GITAM Campus in Hyderabad is the default exam location, GD and PI will be held

Exam Day Guidelines
To enter the exam room,
candidates taking the HBSAT must have the following documentation:
• Admission card: HBSAT 2023 test takers are required to bring their admit cards to the testing location. If
you do not have your HBSAT admission card, you will not be permitted entry.
• Identity Proof: Candidates
must have photo identification with them at all times, including their admit
card, driver's licence, passport, PAN card, voter ID, and Aadhaar card.
Inside the exam room, certain
items are not permitted. They consist of things like a phone, an iPad, a
calculator, bags and wallets, food, etc.
HBSAT
Pattern 2023
The HBSAT exam schedule for 2023 is as follows:
• There will be 100 questions on the test paper.
• There will be questions in five sections: Data
Sufficient, Mathematical Ability, Business Communication, English, and
Reasoning.
• The applicants will have 90 minutes available to
them.
• Each accurate response will earn one mark.
• There are no deductions for wrong responses.
