The University of Delhi has declared the date for their 2023 entrance exam, which is based on CUCET, for admission. The Delhi University 2023 Application Form will only be accessible through online means.

The form for undergraduate (CUET) courses will be available from the initial week of April 2023 to the third week of May 2023.

People applying must give info such as their name, email address, and phone number. Furthermore, they are required to upload scanned photographs and signatures of themselves in the form.

The DUET Postgraduate application form will be out from the first week of April 2023 to the second week of June 2023. It is essential that all the details are filled in precisely, as any mistakes could lead to the dismissal of the form. Lastly, applicants must keep a print copy of the filled form for future reference

In order to apply for the Delhi University, visit the website (which will be provided) and select the link for the desired course of admission.

Then, click on the "New Registration" option.

Once the one-time password (OTP) is verified, the applicant will be directed to the login page where the registered email and password must be used.

The application form should then be filled with personal and academic details, documents uploaded, and the fee paid.

The documents must be uploaded in the appropriate format.

Once the details have been checked, the fee must be paid and the application form printed for future reference.

The eligibility criteria for Delhi University 2023 differ depending on the course.


B.Tech (IT & Mathematical Innovation):

Qualification: Candidates must have either passed or currently be taking the 12th grade or its equivalent exam from a recognized board.

Marks: Applicants are required to have attained at least 60% in their qualifying exam.

Subjects: Mandatory subjects in the qualifying examination include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English (PCME).

M.Com Course:

Qualification: People must have received a B.A, BBA, B.Com, or other equivalent exam from a recognized institution.

Marks: Candidates must have achieved a minimum of 50% (45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ ST) in their qualifying exam.

LLM Course:

Qualification: Applicants must have an LLB degree of 3 or 5 years from a recognized institute.

Marks: To be eligible, they should have scored at least 50% (45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ ST) in their qualifying exam.

M.Tech Course:

To be eligible for M.Tech admission, applicants must possess a B.Tech/ B.E. or an equivalent degree from any authorized organization. The aspirants must score at least 60% in their qualifying degree (54% for OBC and 40% for SC/ ST) to apply for the course. For Delhi University Admission 2023 Exam, the exam pattern is given below:

UG (CUET Pattern): The exam will be conducted online (CBT) with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). It will be offered in thirteen languages with varying durations; slot I being 3 hours and 15 minutes and slot II being 3 hours and 45 minutes. There will be 100 questions in total with 5 marks being rewarded for each correct answer and a 1 mark deduction for each wrong answer.

 

PG (DUET Pattern):

Mode of Examination: The exam will be done through an online platform.

Duration: Candidates will have 2 hours to complete the exam.

Type of Question: The paper will contain Multiple Choice questions.

Medium: The paper will be in English.

Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer, and -1 mark will be subtracted for each wrong answer.

Delhi University Entrance Exam Syllabus 2023

The syllabus for DU Entrance Exam 2023 will differ for each course offered. Those taking the UG CUET exam must study the subjects from 12th class.

 

The DUET PG exam, applicants should study the syllabus of the undergraduate course they wish to pursue at postgraduate level. This syllabus is the equivalent syllabus of Delhi University for BA/B.Com/B.Sc.
