Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (A Christian Minority Institution) earlier known as Sathyabama Engineering College was built up in 1987 by Dr. Jeppiaar. It is a head organization conferring information in the zones of designing, science, innovation and instruction. The organization's advancement and commitment to the field of specialized training for more than two decades brought about conceding Deemed University status on sixteenth July, 2001. The University has been granted as Category "A" University by Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India and certify by NAAC with Grade "An" in the year 2017, ensured with DNV-GL ISO 9001 standard and offering commendable instruction from most recent 29 years.
