National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology otherwise called NIFFT is located Near Kanchnatoli, Hatia, Ranchi. NIFFT is set up by Govt. of India in the year 1966 as a team with UNDP-USESCO. NIFFT is enrolled as Society under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. NIFFT offers B.Tech degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, M.Tech qualification in Environmental Engineering, Foundry Forge Technology, Manufacturing Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering, Advanced Diploma Courses and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D).
