The Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia was set up in 1989. At the beginning a multi year LL.B. program was presented. In the course of recent decades, the Faculty has gained critical ground as far as rebuilding of Courses and Syllabi, presenting new courses, exploring different avenues regarding imaginative procedures of giving legitimate training and fortifying its clinical program so as to give due accentuation to the extending skylines of the lawful professionIn its persistent undertakings in such manner, the Faculty has since presented a multi year coordinated B.A.,LL.B (Hons.) Program from the scholarly session 2002-2003 subsequently supplanting the multi year LL.B. Course; a multi year Post-graduate Program (LL.M.) in three specific surges of Personal Laws, Corporate Laws and Criminal Laws and a Ph.D. program, both having initiated from the scholastic session2000-2001
