Established in 1969 as Christ College, Christ University is managed via Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). CMI is a Catholic indigenous assemblage established in 1831 by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara. In 2008, UGC pronounced it as a 'Regarded to be University'. As of now, the college comprises 29 scholarly offices. It has three world-class grounds in Bangalore. The primary grounds is situated on Hosur Road, one is in Kengeri while the most recent one is arranged on Bannerghatta Road. The college additionally claims one grounds in Pune and one in Delhi-NCR. It offers 46 students, 47 postgraduate, 21 doctoral and many research programs. Additionally, the foundation offers a few expert courses.
