Panjab University Management Entrance Test

On May 25, 2022, the PU MET 2022 admission card was made available. The examination will take place on May 28, 2022. The exam was formerly slated to take place on April 23, 2022. The application period for PU MET 2022 ended on May 9, 2022. On February 14, 2022, the application materials for the PU MET 2022 exam were made available. The application cost has to be paid before May 13, 2022, to avoid late fees. The deadline has been extended until May 22, 2022, for uploading the required paperwork and application information. The application forms could no longer be sent over the mail after May 23, 2022.

What is PU MET 2022 Exam?

For admission to MBA programmes offered by the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) of Panjab University, the university administers the Panjab University Management Entrance Test, or PU MET.

The MBA in Banking and Insurance Management, MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, MBA in Retail Management, MBA in IT & Telecommunications Management, MBA in Infrastructural Management, and MBA in Hospital Management are just a few of the specialisations that candidates who take the PU MET 2022 exam can get admission to.

PU MET Eligibility Criteria 2022

MBA in Retail Management and MBA in Banking and Insurance Management

• The applicant must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in any field from Panjab University or any institution approved by the UGC or AICTE, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%.

• The candidate must have passed the final examination from either the (a) Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, (b) Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England, (c) Institute of Company Secretaries of India, or (d) Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of both India and England.

• The candidate must have at least five years of research, teaching, or professional experience and must have passed the AMIE examination with a minimum of a 50% overall score or the diploma examination with a minimum of a 60% overall score.

MBA in Information Technology & Telecommunications Management

• A bachelor's degree (BE/BTech in any branch) from Panjab University or one of its associated colleges, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%, is required for the position.

• The applicant must have earned a bachelor's degree in any science from Panjab University or one of its associated colleges with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%.

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree from Panjab University or a college connected with it and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%.

• The candidate must have an AMIE exam score of at least 50% overall or a diploma exam score of at least 60% overall, as well as at least five years of research, teaching, or professional experience.

MBA in Pharmaceutical Management

• The applicant must have received a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Panjab University or one of its associated colleges and must have earned at least a 50% overall score.

• The applicant must have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% in MBBS from Panjab University or one of its associated colleges.

• The applicant must have earned a bachelor's degree in science from Panjab University or one of its partner institutions with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%.

• The applicant must have earned a minimum cumulative grade of 50% in their Pharmacy Diploma from Punjab University or one of its associated colleges.
