GUJCET is a state-level common entrance test which is conducted by Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) every year. Admission is provided into Engineering and Pharmacy courses in various institutions located in Gujarat through this entrance test. GUJCET 2022 Application Form
Here are details about the Application Form for GUJCET 2022
• The Application Form for GUJCET 2022 will be available from the last week of March 2022. The application process will take place online.
• The application form can be applied on the online website site of GSEB.
• Details in the application must be carefully and correctly filled as no correction will be allowed in the form after the last date.
• Details like personal, academic, communication, educational details, uploading the images etc must be filled while applying.
• Scanned images of photograph & signature will be needed to be uploaded in the mentioned format.
• Sending the hard copy to the officials will not be required after submission of the application form.
Application Fee:
The Application Form fee for GUJCET is Rs. 300.
Payment Mode: Students can pay the fee online using debit/credit card or net banking. It can also be paid through e-challan/payment slip of SBI bank.
GUJCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Here are the eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2022 for various courses:
General Eligibility:
• Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• Residence: Applicant must possess the domicile of Gujarat state.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the last semester of the qualifying exam are eligible to apply.
Engineering Programme:
• Qualification: Passed 12th level from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics subject securing minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
Pharmacy Programme:
• Qualification: Passed 12th level from a recognized board with Physics and Chemistry subject securing minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
Diploma Programme:
• Qualification: Passed 12th level from a recognized education board with Physics and Chemistry subject.
GUJCET 2022 Exam Pattern
Here is the exam pattern for GUJCET:
• Exam Mode: GUJCET 2022 exam will be held via Pen and paper mode.
• Language of Exam: The language of the paper will be in English, Hindi & Gujarati.
• Number of Questions: There will be 120 questions in the paper. For each subject, there will be 40 questions.
• Time Duration: 3 hours
• Subjects: The subjects from which the questions will be asked are – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for engineering courses. For pharmacy courses the questions will be asked from – Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Total Marks: The exam paper will be of 120 marks.
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be allotted for every correct answer. 0.25 marks will get deducted for every wrong answer.
GUJCET 2022 Syllabus
No official syllabus will be prescribed for GUJCET. Topics of 11th & 12th level of Gujarat State Education Board must be consulted by students to prepare for this exam.
• For Engineering, the topics in the entrance test will from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects.
• For Pharmacy, the topics in the entrance test will from Physics, Biology and Chemistry subjects.
GUJCET 2022 Preparation Tips

• Candidates must start preparing for the exam at the earliest.
• Students must go through the exam pattern and syllabus briefly and they must be aware of the marking scheme.
• Candidates must practice regularly to prepare themselves.
• Students must take mock tests on a regular basis to know their preparation standards.
• They must go through the previous year question papers and model papers to know the trends of questions coming in the exam.
GUJCET 2022 Admit Card
The admit card for GUJCET 2022 will be available online. The admit card will not be provided in any offline method. It will be available from the first week of May 2022. Admit Card is an essential document which will be required for identification of the appearing candidate. Students will be required to show their admit card when they enter the exam hall.
The details present in the hall ticket will be the candidate’s name, date of birth, qualification, paper choice, exam centre and exam date for the candidate. The student must contact the officials if there is any discrepancy in their admit card to rectify the problem.
GUJCET 2022 Answer Key
The answer key for GUJCET 2022 will be published in the third week of May 2022. It will be made available to students online. The provisional answer key will be released by the board first. Students can cross check their answers once the provisional answer key is released. Students will be given the chance to submit objections against the answer key. The final answer key will be published after the objections will have been considered.
GUJCET 2022 Result
The result of GUJCET 2022 will be declared in the fourth week of May 2022. Students can check the results online through the link available on the website. Students can enter their login details to receive their results. The authority will release a merit list on their website once the results are announced.
Students will get selected for the counselling process after they qualify the entrance test with weightage of 40% marks in the entrance test and 60% weightage of marks in the 12th level.
GUJCET 2022 Counselling
The Counselling for GUJCET 2022 will be held online from the first week of June 2022. The counselling procedure of GUJCET will be organised by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).
Students participating in the counselling process have to get their information booklet and PIN number and have to visit their nearer Kotak Mahindra Bank to get registered for counselling. Students will be required to choose courses and colleges according to their merit and availability of seats while registering for counselling.
Students will be required to verify their documents during the counselling process.
