Amrita Entrance Exam 2023: Important dates, Eligibility, Application Form

AEEE 2022 will be conducted by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University. It is a university level entrance examination. Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) is commenced one time every year. Admission for various B.Tech programmes is based on this entrance exam and through this exam admission will be offered various campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (university) and these locations are Amritapuri (Kollam), Vengal (Chennai), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore). AEEE 2023 Important dates (Tentative)

The tentative examination schedule of AEEE 2023 is listed below:

Eligibility criteria

Candidates requested to go through AEEE 2023 eligibility criteria before applying for the exam:

·         Qualification: Candidates should have to passed or appeared for 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board.

·         Mark Requirement: Students must score minimum of 65% aggregate marks in their qualifying examination.

·         Subjects: Candidates should have to passed chemistry, physics and mathematics subjects. 

AEEE 2023 Exam Pattern

·         Mode of Exam: Online exam mode

·         Type of question: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination.

·         Total no questions: Exam consists of Total 100 questions 

·         Exam Duration:  150 minutes duration for qualifying exam

·         Marking Scheme:  3 marks will be awarded, each correct response.

·         Negative Marking: Every wrong answer. One mark will be deducted

AMRITA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION–ENGINEERING (AEEE)

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts entrance exams annually pan India for admission to B.Tech programmes offered at Amrita Schools of Engineering - Amritapuri, Bengaluru & Coimbatore.

Admission into B.Tech courses is only through Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering conducted every year.

The Examination is conducted in two modes:

Computer Based Test (CBT) mode

(a) Entrance Examination

AEEE is an institution level entrance examination administered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Applicants can register for AEEE 2022by filling and submitting application form online

 

(b) AEEE Syllabus

The syllabus will be based on Class 11th & Class 12th syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. subjects .

(c) AEEE: Duration, Pattern and Evaluation

The duration AEEE will be of 2 ½ hours (150 minutes) .

There will be one question paper containing 100 objective type (multiple choice types) questions in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

 (d) Evaluation

·         3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer.

·         For every incorrect answer, there will be negative marking of 1 mark and it will be deducted from the total score.

·         If no response is indicated in the answer sheet against a question, no marks, positive or negative will be awarded.

·         If more than one answer is indicated against a question, it will be treated as “incorrect answer” and 1 mark will be deducted from the total score.

Eligibility for B.Tech.

  Eligibility Requirements

·         Age: Applicants whose date of birth, as per school records, falls on or after 1st July, 1999

·         Educational Qualification: A pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects.
